Tax treatment for the Macquarie Almond Investment has been confirmed through ATO Product Rulings:
The ATO Product Rulings have been issued to confirm the tax treatment for eligible investors who invest in the Macquarie Almond Investment. The Product Rulings are only rulings on the application of taxation law and are in no way expressly or impliedly a guarantee or endorsement of the commercial viability of the Macquarie Almond Investment or the soundness or otherwise of the Macquarie Almond Investment as an investment, or the reasonableness or commerciality of any fees charged in connection with the Macquarie Almond Investment. The Product Rulings are only binding on the Commissioner if they are implemented in the specific manner provided in the Product Rulings.
