Macquarie Global Infrastructure Trust II (MGIFT II)

MGIFT II raised more than $57 million, contributing to a total $489 million in committed capital raised by the underlying wholesale fund, the Macquarie Global Infrastructure Fund II (GIF II).

The Global Infrastructure Fund II offered investors:

• the opportunity to invest in global infrastructure assets and businesses that support infrastructure in OECD countries (except Australia) as well as Hong Kong and Singapore
• the ability to take advantage of the trend from public to private infrastructure investment
• exposure to investments not usually available to Australian or New Zealand investors
• an opportunity to benefit from Macquarie's capabilities and global reach in the infrastructure sector.
